D.A. CANDIDATE HAPP FEATURED IN “COFFEE WITH THE CANDIDATE” SERIES

JEFFERSON, WI – Attorney Susan V. Happ, who recently announced her candidacy for Jefferson County District Attorney, is the scheduled guest for the first of several “Coffee with the Candidate” events, which is slated for Saturday, March 22, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Jefferson County Democratic Party headquarters located at 218 Wisconsin Drive in Jefferson. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with the candidate, ask her questions and enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries.

Susan is a life-long resident of Jefferson, and the daughter of Duane and Lois Quale, both teachers in the Jefferson public school system. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a special emphasis in Russian. Susan later attended the prestigious University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School where she was a member and Articles Editor for the Wisconsin Law Review, graduating from law school in 1998. Susan is in her tenth year of practicing law and specializes in criminal litigation, with an office located in downtown Jefferson.
